This incredible software has been introduced to me by our customer
Micael Morais.
Designing specific geometry sometimes you need supporting structures to be enabled, and as usual they are after very difficult to be removed.
With this software you have the possibility to generate custom supports for your geometry adding or removing segment to the original one or modify the original supporting structure just with few click.
The picture above refer to a geometry form thingiverse that without supporting is piratically impossible to be printed
The picture show a supports set generated by a short overhang analysts with the default parameter,
results are excellent and thanks to the little contact points with the geometry the supports are really easy to remove form the part,
As a result the part finishing is much easier than with supports generated by the original slicer software

This software is from Autodesk and is free of use, It offer many oter function over the possibility to create supports, like geometry simplification, smoothing, re-meshing and merging with other geo.
Like all the modelling software it is a little tricky, but very powerful. The interface probably is intuitive only to those already work with Autodesk product, but anyway it is worth to try and use
The software can be downloaded here http://meshmixer.com/download.html
a complete set of tutorial can be found here http://meshmixer.com/help/index.html
Thanks Micael for this great tip!
